Plants

This page is dedicated to the vascular plants (ie not including bryophytes) found within NG363. The alphabetical list on the PSL page is simply frustrating. Garden plants, crops and council planted trees/flowerbeds/borders are not admissible - all plants have to be 'wild' whether native or naturalised. However, garden throw-outs that have become established away from their source and seedlings of exotic trees are admissible and obviously there are plenty of wild plants growing in gardens. Clear as mud...

As can be seen, I have a lot of work to do with the ferns, rushes, sedges and grasses to be found in NG3963. They are not my favourite set of plants! It would also be pleasing to figure out which species of brambles and dandelions are present - 'agg.' is such a horribly unsatisfactory term.
