Moths

Here is a gallery of the moths seen in NG3963. The first four images are from 2016, all images are in chronological order. Whether egg, larva, mine, pupa or adult I'll be keeping an eye out for all things lepidopterous. The security lights where I live should attract a steady stream of moths to the white walls at night. I don't currently have a moth trap but expect I'll make one pretty soon.

Phyllonorycter rajella - 6th November 2016 - Uig Woods - many tenanted mines in Alder
Winter Moth - 15th December 2016 - Uig Hotel - 1 male to lit window
Coleophora alticolella - 20th December 2016 - Zigzag Road - many cases, 1 larva extracted 
Stigmella aurella - 20th December 2016 - Zigzag Road - vacated mine in Bramble 
Mottled Umber - 16th January 2017 - Uig Hotel - 1 male inside laundry shed
Amblyptilia acanthadactyla - 17th January 2017 - Uig Hotel - 1 inside laundry shed
Pale Brindled Beauty - 22nd January 2017 - Uig Hotel - 1 male to security lights
Mottled Grey - 14th February 2017 - Uig Hotel - 1 male to security lights
